Welcome to Pinewood Pages!

My name is Steffi, and I live in Syracuse, New York, with my husband and two cats. I spend my days working at an art museum, and outside of work I love to read, bake, dabble in crafting projects, go on the occasional hike… and also watch a little too much television. 

I’ve thought about starting a blog off and on for years, but always managed to talk myself out of it. What would I write about? Who would read it? I’m not sure what finally pushed me to take the plunge, but I recently found myself reading WordPress tutorials, brainstorming blog names, and making lists of post topics. And Pinewood Pages was born! I’ll be writing about daily life, books, baking, crafting, and likely random thoughts as they pop into my head. 

While I may have no idea what I am doing from the tech side of things (still trying to figure out SEO), I am so excited to be here, to build a habit of writing regularly, and to learn everything that comes along with being a member of the blogging world. As I continue to learn, I extend a big thank you for all of the YouTube tutorials and the plethora of blogging resources that kind-hearted creators make available on their own websites.
